Thetford Town Council is seeking quotations for the fencing of Castle Park TTC/18/008 Please find the specification for the tender for the fencing of Castle Park Quotation Requirements: A fully costed quotation for the installation of fencing as specified in Appendix A. Please can you provide a price for the fencing and gates separately as well as a total figure. The council requires a copy of your public liability insurance, health and safety policy, example method statement and risk assessment. 2 examples of similar projects you have undertaken, and 2 references Failure to supply any of the information requested in the attached specification will result in the Tender being rejected. Yours sincerely Tina Cunnell BSc (Hons) Town Clerk Appendix A Specification of Castle Park Fencing We require bow top fence railings which meet the relevant British Standard BS1722 part 9. • Contractor will be required to take down existing timber post and 2 rail fencing and removing from site. • Supply and install 278m of standard bow top railings complete • Complete with 3.6 meters wide double leaf gates. • All the above to have a finished height of 1.2 meters. • Black finish required for gates and fencing • Fence posts to be concreted in to depth of 600mm using fast set Post Mix to sustain constructional ground anchoring. • Gates are fixed on adjustable hinges, with pad lockable drop bolts and pad lockable slide latches. • Gate posts to be concreted in to a depth of 900mm using ballast and cement. • To confirm all areas to be CAT scanned and surveyed for utilities before commencing any works. • To make time allowance that the site is a scheduled ancient monument and works will need to be approved/monitored by appointed archaeologist (Thetford Town Council will pay for the archaeologist)
