Wolverhampton City Council is looking to appoint a contractor(s) to provide a security service which not only offers a competitive price but demonstrates the skills and capabilities to provide a high-quality reliable service. These details are of the main long-term guarding requirements. However, the Council may also require additional coverage for other sites/events on an ad-hoc basis e.g. buildings which are new or have been occupied and are void or buildings which are being refurbished, Christmas Markets, etc. To provide a first response Key Holding and Alarm Response Service for Schools and Nursery buildings within the Local Education Authority (LEA), Social Care Buildings and any other Council establishments as and when required and including an estimated 30 void buildings managed by Corporate Landlord, and a number of Wolverhampton Homes locations in compliance with BS7984 or equivalent.
