Tender description

Yorkshire Water Services manage the collection, treatment and distribution of approximately 1 200 000 000 litres of drinking water to over 5 000 000 people in Yorkshire each day; at the same time collecting, treating and disposing safely back into the environment approximately 1 000 000 000 litres of waste water. Scope: This framework aims to cover: — planned and repetitive minor infrastructure construction, renewal, replacement and refurbishment works on clean and waste networks on below ground assets, typically in public highways and on 3rd party land, — project values could range from circa 10 000 GBP to 750 000 GBP. The scope of services shall be (examples but not be limited to): — full compliance with duties of Contractor or Principal Contractor as defined by the CDM Regulations where appropriate, — comm pipe/service pipe/sewer laterals. Replacement of small diameter clean and waste water pipes (including lead pipe), — proactive deep digs and repairs (including renewal and spot dig downs), — street furniture. Replace of clean and waste water network ironwork, — water regulations schemes, — domestic works, — DMA meter installations, — meter installations, — flooding other causes. The repair or replacement of small diameter sewer pipework, — internal plumbing. Domestic clean and waste water plumbing. The scope of services may include: — full compliance with the duties of designer or principal designer, as defined by the CDM Regulations where appropriate, — compliance with street works regulations and standards where applicable and if applicable, traffic management, — Yorkshire Water customer facing activity.
