The Contracting Authority initiated a procurement project to identify an Economic Operator(s) to contract with for the provision of a Biometric Matching Engine Software (Face) & associated services as part of the Home Office Biometrics (HOB) programme. This includes: 1) Matcher Engine Software (MES) – a combination of biometric algorithm software and associated components that will provide the specialised capability to biometrically match a facial image to a set of encoded facial images and; 2) Associated Services – May include but not limited to any/all of the following; design and development, biometric accuracy testing, collaboration, service/capability integration and system testing, transition, data migration, early life support, In life level 4 support, and professional services.
