These procurement's seeks to establish national Framework Agreements for the provision of an Emergency Response Equipment (ERE) and a specialist PPE to allow fire and rescue services to procure items directly or via mini-competition. These procurement's seeks to establish national Framework Agreements for the provision of an Emergency Response Equipment (ERE) and a specialist PPE to allow fire and rescue services to procure items directly or via mini-competition. The aim of this project is to deliver a Framework Agreement which allows FRS, to establish contracts for the supply of emergency response equipment which will potentially include the following lots: — Road Traffic Collision RTC Equipment (including stabilisation), — Fluid Transfer (Hose, hose reel drums, branches, misting systems, etc.), — Positive Pressure Ventilation Fans (PPV), — Ultra High Pressure Lances, — Thermal Imaging Cameras (TICS). This PIN is to inform the market that West Midlands Fire and Rescue Authority is planning to undertake a national procurement process to deliver a Framework Arrangement. The Authority is currently in the very early stages of the project and is engaging with potential customers to scope requirements and develop options for the structure of the Framework Arrangement. The Authority also wants to engage early with industry to share our early thinking and to gather feedback, which will be considered as we develop our requirements. The Authority is therefore planning engagement sessions for both FRS customers and suppliers. The event for FRS’s will be held 19.3.2019 and the supplier event will be held 20.3.2019. Both events will be held at West Midlands Fire and Rescue Authority’s HQ. Kent and Medway Towns Fire and Rescue Authority are also running a procurement exercise at the same time to establish a national Framework Agreement for the provision of Specialist PPE clothing and associated services. It is envisaged that the events would be restricted to 2 personnel per organisation and a waiting list will be populated in case of any cancellations.
