The University requires high quality tax advice in areas which affect the strategic and operational workings of a large and complex research intensive university. Inline with other Higher Education Institutions, Queen’s has a range of tax issues which are specific to the sector, and it is critical that the Economic Operator is able to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of such issues and that, as a result, it is able to provide immediate, accurate and in-depth relevant advice. Further, the appointed economic operator should demonstrate that the University’s Tax Manager will have direct access to those individuals possessing the specialist knowledge.
