Nottingham City Homes are embarking on a significant project to improve the safety of our customers that live in blocks of multiple occupants. The main element to enhance the safety of customers in their homes is the installation of sprinkler systems and associated materials to communal and individual homes brining our buildings in line with BS 9251. The construction, repairs and maintenance section of the NCH business is to deliver fire sprinkler systems to over 1 300 properties across 8 high rise blocks. Lot 1: Sprinkler systems: We require materials to allow us to install CPVC plastic piped sprinkler systems compliant to BS 9251.This will include: — pipe, couplings, unions, elbows, etc., — bracketry, — adhesive cement, — sprinkler assemblies, — residential riser assemblies. Lot 2: Pipe boxing: We require pre-formed plywood pipe boxing and decorative casing material to allow us to cover sprinkler pipes. Lot 3: Installation of sprinkler systems.
