Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School is an outstanding [Ofsted rating 2015] forward thinking school based in Faversham, Kent which aims to provide an education for life for all students within a caring supportive environment. We offer an enjoyable, successful and enriching experience aimed to stimulate and engage all. Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School was established in 1576 and became a co-educational school in the current site in 1967. The total number of students has risen from 870 in 2011 to 980 at the start of the 2017 academic year. Each year group from Year 7 to 11 is full and waiting lists are in operation. There are 240 students in the sixth form. For the start of the 2017 academic year, Queen Elizabeth’s was once again one of the most oversubscribed schools in Kent, with almost 500 applicants for the 140 available places in Year 7.
