Tender description

The contracting authority is seeking to enter into a 4-year framework agreement arrangement in respect of 13 lots dealing with responsive and void property maintenance in support of its direct labour operations and directly awarded contracts. The framework will require a minimum of 5 providers to be appointed to each lot. Bidders may submit for multiple lots and works to be undertaken during the duration of the framework will be ordered by means of mini-competition or direct award at the sole discretion of the contracting authority. The ethos of the contracting authority is to encourage SME contractors on the Wirral and in the Merseyside rea to become collaborative partners in the on-going development of the services that the contracting authority provides its customers. Tenderers will be required to complete a financial and technical capacity and capability questionnaire, this will establish those that will be selected to have a financial and quality evaluation of their tender. Undertaking of responsive maintenance on an all trades basis, including emergency works arising during the normal working day, but excluding out of hours call-outs. The annual expenditure will be in the range of 250 000 GBP to 500 000 GBP. The annual expenditure will be in the range of 30 000 GBP to 100 000 GBP. Undertaking of plastering repairs and maintenance on a single trades basis, including emergency works arising during the normal working day, but excluding out of hours call-outs. The annual expenditure will be in the range of 50 000 GBP to 100 000 GBP. Undertaking of flooring repairs and maintenance on a single trades basis, including emergency works arising during the normal working day, but excluding out of hours call-outs. The annual expenditure will be in the range of 50 000 GBP to 150 000 GBP. Undertaking of cleaning and clearance to communal areas and void properties, including emergency works arising during the normal working day, but excluding out of hours call-outs. The annual expenditure will be in the range of 150 000 GBP to 300 000 GBP.
