Essex County Council (ECC) are seeking input from the market to inform the scoping of a potential procurement opportunity concerning Device as a Service. Our aim is to reduce device management within ECC to a referral only process from first line support to the DaaS supplier and are looking for potential suppliers to engage with us on their service offering. Essex County Council (ECC) are seeking input from the market to inform the scoping of a potential procurement opportunity concerning Device as a Service. Our aim is to reduce device management within ECC to a referral only process from first line support to the DaaS supplier and are looking for potential suppliers to engage with us on their service offering. ECC are looking for a fully managed service across the whole life cycle, from acquisition through build, distribution, user support and disposal including the packaging of software for desktop, laptop and tablet devices. ECC are looking for a supplier to provide a comprehensive service including, a high level of automation, user self-service and integration of the supplier service desk and processes to the ECC Service Desk which is based on the ITIL framework and utilises Axios Assyst software. The supplier must state what services must be retained within ECC to support the DaaS offer as this will help inform the business case.
