Tender description

Wandsworth Borough Council initiated a procurement for the provision of cleaning services. The Council split the contract into 2 lots: Lot 1: Western and Central Estates and Blocks; and Lot 2: Southernand Eastern Estates and Blocks. The contract will be for a period of 8 years (96 months) with the option of extensions for a period or periods of up to a further 8 years (96 months) at the Council’s absolute discretion. The estimated value for both lots is 5 816 185 GBP per annum. The services will broadly comprise of the provision of cleaning of the communal areas to blocks and estates located in the western and central region of the borough (Putney and Roehampton). This includes the provision of fly tipping removal and disposal. The service will be provided 365 days a year within a working day that commences no earlier than 8.00 a.m. and finishes no later than 6.00 p.m. Monday to Friday and no earlier than 8.00 a.m. and no later than 1.00 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. The services will broadly comprise of the provision of cleaning of the communal areas to blocks and estates located in the Southern and Eastern region of the borough (Battersea and Tooting). This includes the provision of fly tipping removal and disposal. The service will be provided 365 days a year within a working day that commences no earlier than 8.00 a.m. and finishes no later than 6:00 pm Monday to Friday and no earlier than 8:00 a.m. and no later than 1.00 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
