Transport Consultant to advise the Southern Regional Assembly in relation to multimodal planning and to assist in the development of the Interreg Europe MATCH-UP Regional Action Plan

Tender description

 Assist the Southern Regional Assembly in developing the Regional Action Plan for the Interreg Europe MATCH-UP project according to the agreed timetable, and to a quality accepted by the Programme Joint Secretariat; in particular to;  work with the Southern Regional Assembly, Local Authorities and other stakeholders to undertake analysis of 3 towns in the Southern Region (specified by the Southern Regional Assembly) against the “10 minute” town concept;  integrate International good practices case studies and examples, with high quality mapping, diagrams and photographs of example projects that help to achieve “10 minute” town concept;  develop and present recommendations for each of the 3 towns that details the findings of the mapping and what/if any infrastructure changes, upgrading of transport services, public realm, behaviour changes inter alia are required in order for each of these towns to adhere to the “10 minute” town concept; and  create a framework and/or good practice guidance for mapping the “10 minute” town concept based on experience of these 3 towns, that can be used to by other towns to implement the “10 minute” town concept.
