Tender description
MAG Airport Ltd are delivering a Group Future Security Regulations programme of works, including tender for Cabin Baggage Screening equipment. In line with DFT regulatory updates, there are several changes to account for between 2020 and 2023 requiring modification of passenger and colleague security areas group wide. MAG seek to procure a standardised solution across group airports. Supply of ECAC EDS C3 certified and DfT approved CT baggage scanning equipment for Stansted, Manchester and East Midlands airports, to replace existing scanning equipment.The Framework Agreement will include an option for provision for ongoing maintenance and delivery of critical spares throughout the contract life-cycle. Supply of ECAC EDS C3 certified and DfT approved CT baggage scanning equipment for Stansted, Manchester and East Midlands airports, to replace existing scanning equipment.The Framework Agreement will include the option for provision for ongoing maintenance and delivery of critical spares throughout the contract life-cycle. The procurement will seek to award a multi-supplier framework with the ability to direct award to the preferred bidder at the end of the ITN. The Framework will provide access to ECAC EDS CB C3 compliant CT baggage scanning equipment for Stansted, Manchester and East Midlands airports, to replace existing scanning equipment. This extends to both colleague and guest security areas throughout each airport. All equipment procured through this framework agreement will be considered as critical assets assets with a standard response time group wide. Requirements in respect of maintenance and availability will be shared with tenderers requested to provide proposals for support packages. MAG will reserve the right not to award maintenance and critical spares element as part of the final framework agreement. In this event, MAG will seek to procure an alternative third-party solution.
