Tender description

Onward Group (acting on behalf of itself and any current and future subsidiaries) are seeking to appoint a single, group wide contractor to undertake a planned water hygiene maintenance programme and follow on works as required, across the group for all 3 regions. The contract covers all periodic servicing and inspection, routine and responsive maintenance to all installations within the boundaries of each group of properties as well as additional responsive maintenance to deal with day to day repairs, emergency or out of hours work and works specified from a risk assessment completed within a pre-defined time-scale. Onward Group Ltd is one of the largest registered providers of social housing based solely in the North West of England with 35 000 homes across Merseyside, Lancashire, Greater Manchester and Cheshire. Formerly known as Symphony Housing Group, we rebranded to Onward in April 2017 and now operate as a single organisation under 1 common board. Onward’s housing stock is managed as 3 regions; Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Lancashire. Each Region is further divided in to a number of Neighbourhoods, reflecting local boundaries. Onward is as a not-for-profit organisation, committed to the regeneration and sustainability of the North West region, with a primary focus on making a positive difference in the communities we serve. Onward wishes to appoint a sole contractor to who will have the experience and capability to deliver a programme of water safety management services across the North West as expressed with in these tender documents. This will allow Onward to meet its compliance responsibilities in accordance with water hygiene. The contractor is required to provide: — water hygiene management, — maintenance and responsive reactive services, — sufficient resourcing to meet all contract requirements, — web based electronic monitoring database.
