Tender description

Care at Home Services tendered by Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council. The Council is looking for experienced, effective and dynamic prime providers to deliver its Care at Home services throughout the borough. The Council is intending to appoint 1 or more prime providers in each of it's nine care community areas who will be responsible for delivering the majority of current and increasing demand for services. It will also create a flexible framework agreement covering all care communities which will deliver a minority of services and may act as an incubator for possible prime providers who could be promoted to 1 or more care communities throughout the lifetime of the contracts and framework. Cheshire CCG's and successor bodies may be able to use the resulting contracts and framework at a later date depending on the development of integrated working arrangements with the Council and health partners. Annual spend for the Council will start at approximately 11 000 000 GBP and is expected to rise throughout the term. The Council is operating this procurement under the light touch regime for social and other specific services, as set out in the PCR 2015, at Section 7 (Regulations 74 to 77) and Schedule 3. The Council intends to exercise the full flexibility granted therein to operate the tender and any resulting contracts and framework.
