Who Speclialist Work With The specialist will work directly on a supplier-led team with team with other data and product specialists. The specialist will also work with traditional delivery and product roles within the existing programme and with SMEs across the department to ensure predictable and regular delivery. What Specialists Work On 1. Foster stable, highly functioning teams, responsive to user needs and capable of predictable delivery 2. Understand and advise on best processes, including how to scope, define and govern new data products and services 3. Understand what exists within existing service catalogue 4. Ensure a validated product roadmap is maintained and communicated 5. Advocate best-practice and champion re-use 6. Ensure all risks and issues are raised, suitable mitigations owned and managed 7. Ensure all necessary internal governance is completed to the required standard for new products and changes to existing 8. Identify impediments that affect the team's ability to deliver Where the Work Takes Place Location is flexible but there will be a requirement to travel to Tothill Street, London, SW1 when necessary. Early Market Engagement A discovery exercise has been carried out to understand how to maximise integration and re-use potential and gain a better understanding of opportunities for integration across the existing programme. This process has produced an interim target architecture and proposed team arrangement. Working Arrangements Flexible - All expenses shall be capped in accordance with the buyer's travel and expense policy. Work Location Location is flexible but there will be a requirement to travel to Tothill Street, London, SW1 when necessary. Security Clearance Pre-arranged SC clearance is required Additional T&Cs Skills & Experience 2+ years experience of driving large scale data migration project within large UK Demonstrable experience within the last 2 years of successfully negotiating digital governance frameworks within large UK public sector organisation 2+ years experience with pensions operational performance workflow software and data structures Demonstrable experience within the last 2 years of leading a project involved with integrating on-premise services with cloud environments Demonstrable experience of finance reporting within large UK public sector organisation Demonstrable experience within the last 2 years of service design and implementation 5+ years experience of managing digital agile delivery teams Demonstrable experience, within the last 2 years of multiple delivery methodologies including flow based models and understanding the rationale for selection Demonstrable experience of digital delivery to GDS standards including principles, tools and governance 5+ years senior stakeholder engagement and management including demonstrable experience of building trust and strong relationships with previously disaffected stakeholders 2+ years experience of working in organisations new to agile ways of working Self starter, able to work without direct guidance and under their own control Nice to Haves 2+ years experience of working with digital delivery teams within the Department for Work and Pensions 5+ years of working with teams delivering solutions in Amazon Web Services No. of Specialists to Evaluate 3 Cultural Fit Criteria Be a self starter and be able to independently deliver value without direct guidance or control Demonstrate ability to be transparent and collaborative when making decisions Demonstrate ability to take responsibility for their own work Demonstrate ability to be tenacious in the face of adversity Demonstrable experience in actively sharing knowledge and experiences with other team members Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively with existing teams and other supplier teams Assessment Method Interview Evaluation Weighting Technical competence 70% Cultural fit 10% Price 20% Questions from Suppliers No questions have been answered yet Budget range
