Who Speclialist Work With The specialist will work directly on a supplier-led team with team with other data and product specialists. The specialist will also work with traditional delivery and product roles within the existing programme and with SMEs across the department to ensure predictable and regular delivery. What Specialists Work On 1. Working with Business Data Team, advising on data products and services and overarching data strategy 2. Advise Data & Analytics (D&A) on Data Product strategy, ensuring user needs are met by efficient provision of high quality reporting, insight and modelling products 3. Work with D&A and stakeholders to help design an optimised Data service 4. Work with wider Digital Department, other DWP departments and xGov, ensuring consistency of best practice approach 5. Advise on data product and service design best practices 6. Advise on delivery of aspirant distributed decentralised data operating model, ensuring value of approach can be unlocked Where the Work Takes Place Location is Flexible but there will be a requirement to travel to Tothill Street, London, SW1 & St Peter's Square, Manchester M1 when necessary. Early Market Engagement A discovery exercise has been carried out to understand how to maximise integration and re-use potential and gain a better understanding of opportunities for integration across the existing programme. This process has produced an interim target architecture and proposed team arrangement. Working Arrangements Flexible - All expenses shall be capped in accordance with the buyer's travel and expense policy. Work Location Location is Flexible but there will be a requirement to travel to Tothill Street, London, SW1 & St Peter's Square, Manchester M1 when necessary. Security Clearance Pre-arranged SC clearance is required Additional T&Cs Skills & Experience 5+ years experience introducing Product Management best practice in a public sector data and/or digital environment 5+ years experience delivering digital or data products in a public sector environment 5+ years experience successfully introducing processes new to individuals and organisations 5+ years experience leading teams to better plan, prioritise, govern and deliver key data and digital products in the public sector 5+ years experience delivering digital products to users, to the standards required of a government department 2+ years experience with pensions operational performance workflow software and data structures Demonstrable experience migrating from on-prem data models to cloud-based data models Demonstrable experience with finance reporting within large UK public sector organisation 10+ years experience using digital agile software methodologies 10+ years experience in senior stakeholder engagement and management 10+ years experience working in organisations new to agile ways of working 2+ years experience of data product and service design and implementation Self starter, able to work without direct guidance under their own control Nice to Haves 2+ years experience of working with digital delivery teams within the Department for 5+ years of working with teams delivering solutions in Amazon Web Services No. of Specialists to Evaluate 3 Cultural Fit Criteria Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively with existing internal supplier teams and other supplier teams Demonstrate ability to be transparent and collaborative when making decisions Demonstrate ability to take responsibility for their own work Demonstrate ability to be tenacious in the face of adversity • Demonstrable experience in actively sharing knowledge and experiences with other team members Assessment Method Evaluation Weighting Technical competence 70% Cultural fit 10% Price 20% Questions from Suppliers No questions have been answered yet Budget range
