Tender description

This procurement covers the vehicle recovery requirements for Northamptonshire Police and the provision of RTC Vehicles to Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service for training purposes. The procurement is split into 4 Lots: Lot 1: Heavy and Light; Lot 2: Local authority; Lot 3: Police Vehicles; Lot 4: RTC Vehicles. Lots 1-3 are for Northamptonshire Police and Lot 4 is for Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service. This procurement covers the vehicle recovery requirements for Northamptonshire Police Lot 1: Heavy and light is for vehicle recovery of heavy and light vehicles. Vehicles can include abandoned vehicles, stolen vehicles, RTC Vehicles, etc. The lot is split into 4 distinct areas with a clear map of the areas included within the specification documents. Bidders can apply for any of the areas within the lot. There will be one chosen bidder per area. Suppliers should be capable of recovering vehicles of any specification, be available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This procurement covers the removal and disposal requirements for Northamptonshire Police Lot 2: Local authority includes but is not exhaustive to: (a) vehicles and caravans removed by local authorities; (b) end of life and DVLA; (c) removal of non insured vehicles during police operations; (d) disposal of vehicles. The lot is split into 3 distinct areas with a clear map of the areas included within the specification documents. Bidders can apply for any of the areas within the lot. There will be one chosen bidder per area. Suppliers should be capable of removing vehicles Mon to Fri 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. This procurement covers the vehicle recovery requirements for Northamptonshire Police. Lot 3: Police Vehicles is for vehicle recovery and/or repair of police vehicles and will include recovery to HQ or roadside repair of police fleet vehicles and/or redelivery to specified garages/workshops. There will be one chosen bidder. Suppliers should be capable of recovering vehicles of any specification, be available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This procurement covers the provision of RTC Vehicles to Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service. Lot 4: RTC Vehicles covers the drainage, delivery and collection of RTC vehicles for fire training courses. The lot is split into 2 distinct areas with a clear map of the areas included within the specification documents. Bidders can apply for any of the areas within the lot. There will be one chosen bidder per area.
