PIN - Framework of contractors to install energy-efficiency measures under SEAI’s energy poverty programmes nationwide.

Tender description

This is a Prior Information Notice (PIN) in relation to establishing a Framework of contractors to install energy-efficiency measures under SEAI’s energy poverty programmes nationwide. These programmes fund energy-efficiency improvements in homes of those in receipt of certain welfare payments, making their homes more comfortable, healthier and more cost effective to run. The energy upgrades will include internal, cavity and external wall insulation, window replacements and heating systems including heat pump technologies. The estimated total contract budget is approximately €220,000,000 excluding VAT over the entire contract term which will be for a maximum of four years. The estimated budget for the contract will be subject to the annual government estimates and budgetary process in each of the years in question which are subject to change. SEAI will be holding workshops in relation to this tender in venues located in Athlone, Cork and Dublin during the month of January, 2020. The workshops will present the types of services it plans to tender for and answer any questions.
