Tender description

The provision of aftercare services for victims of rape and sexual assault was awarded to Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre (Cheshire and Merseyside) [RASASC] following an EU Compliant tendering exercise for a 3-year period until the 31.3.2018 with an option to extend the contract for 2 further periods of 12 months. The PCC intends to award this contract under the negotiated procedure without prior publication which may be used for new works and services consisting of the repetition of similar works or services entrusted to the economic operator to which the same contracting authority awarded an original contract, provided that such works or services are in conformity with a basic project for which the original contract was awarded. It is the PCC's intention to award a 12-month extension of contract to RASASC for the provision of aftercare services for victims of rape and sexual assault under a VEAT notice, under section 32 (9) of the Procurement Contract Regulations 2015.
