Contract for the Delivery of Literary Tourism Product Incubation Programme and Facilitation of Literary Business Exchange Programme

Tender description

The WDC is seeking the assistance of suitably qualified organisations to; 1) Develop and Deliver at 12-month Literary Tourism Product Incubation Programme for SME’s to develop specific LT products and services. The WDC has developed a Toolkit which will act as a framework for the delivery of the workshops (which includes themes/topics and detailed curriculum) and this will be provided to the chosen contractor. Given that participants will be self-employed the programme is not intended to be full time but delivered on a flexible basis and will break during summer months and other holidays. The structure and format of the Literary Tourism Product Incubation Programme can be decided when the needs of the chosen businesses are identified but should include a mix of group sessions, one-to-one’s, learning journals, mentoring, guest lecturers/speakers, field trips etc. It is expected the programme will begin in January 2020 and completion by January 2021. The chosen contractor will be required to provide detailed reports on progress every 3 months. 2) Delivery and Facilitation of a Literary Tourism Business Exchange Programme where the SME’s participating in the Business Support programmes in Ireland, Northern Ireland, Finland and Scotland can meet and transfer/exchange learning and knowledge. It is likely that this programme would be a maximum of 2 days and location is expected to be in Scotland. This should include guest speakers (guest speakers can include partner organisations at no cost), presentations on pilot projects etc. It is expected that this programme will take place in Sept/Oct 2020.
