Tender description

Bristol Waste Company are tendering on behalf of Birstol City Council for the redevelopment and construction of a new Household Waste Recycling Centre at Hartcliffe Way. The procurement will be a one stage process for the redevelopment and construction of a new household waste recycling centre at Hartcliffe Way. To include (but not exhaustive): — construction of 2 no new bridges to the site to create improved access, — construction of revised site road layout to include barrier systems and traffic control measures, — installation of traffic control on Hartcliffe Way to include traffic lights and pedestrian crossing, — construction of a new reuse building, — installation of a new weigh bridge, — construction of concrete bulk recycling bays with roof, — raised concrete household collection platform with numerous drop bin bays with roof, — construction of retaining ways to the perimeter of the site, — construction of new parking areas to include electrical vehicle charging points, — construction of new site drainage system, — revised site landscaping and planting strategy.
