Tender description

Carmarthenshire County Council, in association with Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council, Pembrokeshire County Council, Ceredigion County Council and the City and County of Swansea wishes to undertake a procurement exercise to establish a Framework Agreement for use by public and voluntary sector organisations based (or operating) in the counties of Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Neath Port Talbot, Pembrokeshire, Powys and Swansea for the provision of construction-related works. These organisations include, but are not limited to, central Government departments and their agencies, non-departmental public bodies, devolved administrations, NHS bodies, local authorities, police, fire service, voluntary sector, charities and private sector organisations procuring on behalf of these bodies. An indicative list of these organisations is attached in the additional information section of this notice. The framework will be split into value-banded lots for the region as a whole. However, at this stage, the lotting structure is still under development. Final lot details will be published in the tender documentation. Please note that Powys has been included as certain Other Participating Bodies such as the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service and Dyfed-Powys Police, operate from premises in Powys, as well as in the main South West Wales Contractors Framework region. The framework will be split into value-banded lots and according to geographical areas (e.g. West 0 — 750 000 GBP and East 0 — 750 000 GBP). However, at this stage, the lotting structure is still under development and example above is for illustrative purposes only. Final lot details will be published in the tender documentation.
