Support for the Local Plan: Planning Consultancy Services - Employment Land Forecasting

Tender description

Portsmouth City Council is inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced providers to tender for this project. The scope of which will comprise of but may not be limited to providing analysis and advice on employment land forecasts up to 2036 to help inform the direction of the new Local Plan. This will be focused on a review of the existing employment land forecasts and growth targets in order to provide recommendations on employment projections for the new Local Plan period. Additional support to the Council through attendance at the Local Plan Examination may also be required. The Council does not currently have a fixed budget for the project, it is estimated that the project spend will be no greater than £12,000 - £15,000. The initial contract period will be for the duration of the Local Plan project which is anticipated to run until December 2021. This initial term may be extended for a further 12 months, subject to the agreement and performance of both parties to accommodate additional or unforeseen consultation or examination dates.
