SCDC is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced organisation to provide a Demand Responsive Transport offering for Hauxton and surrounding areas: https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Hauxton,+Cambridge/@52.147172,0.0914689,15z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x47d87a29fdf7b295:0xdb13154ba64b602f!8m2!3d52.148822!4d0.1036303 Traditional demand responsive transport may or may not be suitable within this area due to its close proximity to Cambridge, so we are looking for organisations to come forward with proposals for a transport service which will meet the needs of Hauxton residents (as the focus) and surrounding areas where possible. There are a number of elderly and disabled residents residing in Hauxton, and also those who do not have cars, and have problems using traditional bus services. This contract is for 2-year term with the option to extend each and every year at the discretion of SCDC, until the value reaches the EU Value (or its replacement) prevailing at the time. In any case the contract will not be longer than 10 years in total. The Council cannot guarantee future years after the initial 2 year term. Please note for evaluation purposes SCDC will use the 10 year term to calculate each bidders price score. The contract range for this contract is in the region of £30k to £35k per annum. Please note this is the maximum budget per year.
