Tender description

The council wishes to obtain a combination of flexibility and value for money in their contracting of the 2 new data centre colocation facilities over a period of 5 years with the option to extend for a further 2 x 12 month period subject to the Council's discretion. The tender will be split into 2 lots: — Lot 1: Local Data Centre (maximum 2 ms response time), — Lot 2: Non-Local data centre (maximum 7 ms response time). Local data centre (maximum 2 millisecond response time) Due the physical nature of the services only 1 supplier will be appointed for the local data centre. Non-local data centre (maximum 7 millisecond response time) due to the physical nature of the services only 1 supplier will be appointed for the non-local data centre.
