Tender description
The Trust currently has a requirement for the services of a Authorising Engineer (water) (AE(w)) for a 3 year period with option to extend by 1 year. The AE(w) will act as an independent professional adviser to the healthcare organisation. The AE(w) will be appointed by the organisation with a brief to provide services in accordance with the relevant Health Technical Memorandum (HTM 04-01). The AE (W) should preferably be a qualified Microbiologist (e.g. a degree in life science or equivalent), and have significant relevant experience in healthcare. The organisation providing the service shall be a member of the Legionella Control Association or equivalent and comply with its code of conduct.
