Tender description

The Met Office is seeking tender submissions from bidders capable of undertaking an upgrade to the water softening capacity associated to a pre-existing borehole operated at our Exeter headquarters site. Bidders should be capable of providing; detailed design, delivery, installation test and commissioning of a fully function system, suitable for retrofitting within the confines of the existing system. The proposed solution should increase eater softening capacity to 8m3/hr, and include a bulk salt saturator, whilst improving pumping resilience (N+1), to extend overall system life, Associate ground works, cabin provision, and plumbing and electrical works will also form part of the contracted requirement.
