Implementing Partner to support the Laois Refugee Resettlement Programme 2019

Laois County Council is inviting Tenders from community based organisations for a Programme Implementer to support the delivery of a resettlement programme for programme refugees in County Laois. Applicant organisations must have experience in working in partnership with local service providers in the provision of services to vulnerable communities The main objective of this initiative is to support recently arrived refugees from Syria who will be resettled in County Laois. This will include the employment of a Resettlement Worker and an Intercultural Worker to implement the local Resettlement Programme in Laois. It is anticipated that the programme will commence in July 2019 and run for a period of approximately 18 months in total. The overall objective of the programme is to ensure the Syrian refugees settle into the community, access services appropriately and build lasting relationships with the local community.
