Tender description

The Council requires multiple suppliers to provide their services to supply and deliver short and long term use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Corporate Wear. Lot 1: ‘Highways and Fleet only PPE’ for items such as safety helmets, gloves, eye protection, high-visibility clothing, safety footwear and safety harnesses as well as respiratory protective equipment (RPE). For Lot 2: ‘Standard All other general PPE and Corporate Wear’ the Council requires 1 single supplier for items such as work wear items for teams working in health and social care, catering and civil enforcement. The Council requires multiple suppliers to provide their services to supply and deliver short and long term use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and corporate wear. Lot 1 will list core essential PPE items for the ‘Stores Catalogue’ required by highways and fleet, which will be maintained by the highways stores depots. Following MEAT evaluation, the top 3 ranked suppliers will be invited to call-off without competition from the framework tender to list their best priced items in the stores catalogue. Lot 2 will be awarded to one supplier who meets the MEAT tender criteria. Lot 2 catalogue will list standard day-to-day items as required by other departments throughout the Council, items such as additional work wear items for teams working in Health and social care, catering and civil enforcement.
