Tender description

Currently, Kirklees Council hosts a multitude of different systems to handle its various environmental and infrastructural assets. Some of them are over 10 years old. Their choice reflects a siloed mentality that failed to grasp the importance of inter-departmental working. The result is a lack of proper system integration and disjointed workflow. Data duplication and inconsistency are widespread. Business intelligence is poor and there is a fear that if we simply bolt on newer technologies (e.g. mobile working), we will not be able to realise their full potential.
