Tender description

IÉ is undertaking a project to replace its existing Central Traffic Control Centre at Connolly Station, with a new National Train Control Centre (NTCC) at Heuston Station, A central part of the proposed NTCC will be its traffic management system (TMS) and control equipment which is being delivered as a design and build contract using the NEC 3 Option C target cost form of contract. This TMS and control equipment will be required to interface to a number of existing IÉ legacy signalling, electrical and telecommunications systems. IÉ wish to engage a systems integrator and a safety assurance manager to assist them in the delivery of the project. IÉ is seeking to engage external consultancy support for a systems integrator and safety assurance manager.
