The Bromford Housing Group are delivering one of the largest housing association-led new homes programme throughout the Midlands through the in-house construction team (Bromford Developments Ltd) and South West through the new Bromford Construction Partnership (external contractors). Bromford Housing Group (including its current and future subsidiaries, together ‘Bromford’) is currently developing its procurement strategy to appoint suppliers to provide services for the hire of required construction plant to support the delivery of the construction programme over the coming years with a focus of delivery initially in the Midlands. Bromford is a leading provider of affordable housing and specialist housing support services, recognised for demonstrating industry leading financial strength and customer satisfaction. In a world where every penny counts, Bromford works hard to provide high-quality affordable homes, achieve significant value for money, provide strong social value and launch and maintain innovative and efficient services. The recent merger with Merlin Housing Society Ltd and acquisition of Severn Vale Housing to its group Bromford has increased the number of homes it owns to almost 44 000, including 12 000 in Gloucestershire. Over the next 10 years, Bromford will be aiming to grow this through an ambitious development programme that will invest 1 500 000 000 GBP to build 15 000 new homes across the Bromford geographical area. The Bromford groups geographical area is predominately Central England and South West, which includes the West Midlands. Shropshire, Staffordshire, South Gloucestershire, Cirencester, the Cotswolds, Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire. To support these plans Bromford is seeking to procure a framework of partners to provide the hire of plant to support delivery of the affordable housing developments.
