GB-Luton: MODERNISATION OF THREE LIFTS TO WARDS 4-6 CATERING PASSENGER BED/GOODS LIFT 1, MAX-FAX PASSENGER LIFT 2, OPD BED PASSENGER LIFT 4

Tender description

The work includes the modernisation of two traction passenger lifts and one hydraulic passenger lift to JB Lift Consultants individual works specifications, project references D970 Lifts 1, 2 and 4 as below. Max-Fax Lift 2 has individual specifications for both major modernisation and complete replacement with a machine-roomless lift. Works are to be undertaken to one lift at a time. The site is located in: LUTON AND DUNSTABLE HOSPITAL LEWSEY ROAD LUTON LU4 0DZ WARDS 4-6 CATERING PASSENGER BED/GOODS LIFT 1 MAX-FAX PASSENGER LIFT 2 OPD BED PASSENGER LIFT 4 The works includes the dismantling, removal from site and disposal of existing lift equipment and the design, supply, installation testing commissioning and setting to work of the lifts at the above property in accordance with the JB Lift Consultants specifications. If a crane operation is required, they will be carried out from the side of the building parked on the surrounding streets. Liaison with the Client will be required to ensure that cars are parked away from the potential crane position. The Principal Contractor shall ensure that measures are in place for safety receiving visitors onto the site including registration, induction and provision of PPE etc.
