Evaluation Study to inform development and delivery of a North East Commercial Property Investment Fund

The North East Combined Authority (NECA) (and also on behalf of the North of Tyne Combined Authority) is the accountable body for the North East Local Enterprise Partnership (North East LEP). The North East Local Enterprise Partnership (North East LEP) / NECA is seeking to appoint an appropriately qualified contractor to undertake an evaluation study to inform the development and delivery of a North East Commercial Property Investment Fund, to determine scope, scale and operational governance for future implementation. This will involve reviewing the North East’s drivers and market failures of the North East commercial property market, the opportunities these provide for an Urban Development Fund to improve economic growth and the lessons the North East can learn from other regions/UDF models. The appointed contractors must make detailed recommendations in relation to the interventions that are likely to have the greatest impact through UDF model on increasing economic impact of the commercial property market of the North East.
