Tender description

The project consists of the internal refurbishment of part of Block B of the Limerick Further Education and Training Center to convert 5 no existing classrooms to provide 4 No Electrical Workshops and one number storage room along with the installation of two aluminium double doors and associated façade alterations. The building is situated on the corner of Cloughkeating Avenue and Roches Avenue in Raheen Business Park and comprises 3 large rectangular buildings arranged parallel with each other and connected by single storey link corridors. The works include some minor adjustment to the external levels at the location of the new double doors. The Training Center must remain fully operational throughout the works. One workshop is to be completed ahead of the rest of the project as an advance phase. This contract was awarded to Mark Lynch Carpentry Ltd.
