The Council is seeking a suitably qualified contractor to supply and fit facing bricks, blockwork and associated works for a 19 Bed New Build Homeless Persons Temporary Accommodation scheme at Spa Lane Harrogate, HG2 7JF. Detail of requirement: To supply and construct facing brickwork (Wienerberger Blended Red Multi Gilt Stock) and blockwork walls to structural timber frame, natural tone mortar, cast stone cills, cast stone headers, plinth and coping brickwork, lintols, air bricks, periscopic air vents, weep holes, flexible wall ties as specified and shown on the drawings. To supply and construct brick columns to entrance canopy. To supply and fit 4 No. integral bat nesting bricks (model Habibat box 01) as specified and shown on the drawings – F90/971 To supply and fit 4 No. integral swift nesting bricks (model Schwegler No 16) as specified and shown on the drawings – F90/972 Price to include all materials, delivery/carriage charges and any hire charges in order to carry out the works specified. Harrogate Borough Council will provide the welfare facilities and scaffolding. The contractor is responsible for the disposal of any waste materials caused from their works.
