Tender description
Birmingham City Council requires a supplier for the provision of Engineering and Manufacturing Sector Training to support the delivery of WoW project objectives. This contract requires the delivery of a flexible package of training focused on developing engineering and manufacturing skills to support unemployed WoW participants into employment within the sector. Overarching WoW project principles: o Learning and training that is directly linked to employment opportunities o Outreach and engagement with the project's priority groups o Targeted provision tailored to meet the needs of growth sectors o Holistic approach to meet individuals' needs through the WoW Employment Engagement Officers o Employer involvement at pre-employment stage o Partnership coordination o Peer support and industry role models This contract will be for a period of 9 months commencing 01 12 2019 until 31 09 2020, subject to compliance and satisfactory performance.
