PRIOR INFORMATION NOTICE >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Prior Information of an up and coming opportunity: Derbyshire is intending to procure a Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Awareness project in partnership with the CCG with a targeted approach focussing on vulnerable groups, those in most need, children, young people and middle aged men, across Derbyshire (Excluding Derby City) for a 12 month period. The aims of the project are to; deliver promotional messages, supported by practical resources, in employment settings, local clubs i.e. boxing, gyms, amateur football. This will be done as part of the approach to suicide prevention in Derbyshire in partnership with local organisations. The service will promote an existing offer: Training for staff, coaches, peers etc. on suicide awareness, mental health first aid and mental health first aid youth. Promotional resources on antistigma and positive mental wellbeing. Practical support- build network for regular communication to prompt ideas for promotion/campaigns, support employers/clubs to adopt and embed sustainable mechanisms e.g. Mental Health First Aider Role, organisation policy Digital Offer – social media/website toolkit and messages, use of apps (e.g. Staying Alive and Staying Safe) The project will be funded by the CCG in partnership with Derbyshire County Council and the budget for the project is between £72,000 up to a maximum of £80,000.00 for a 12 month period only.
