Tender description

The West Yorkshire Combined Authority are potentially looking to issue a tender for a Common Safety Method (CSM) Assessor to provide the necessary independent assessments of the development and ultimate delivery of 4 new rail stations in West Yorkshire which are being development by the Combined Authority. These are Elland (Calderdale), LBA Parkway, White Rose, and Thorpe Park (Leeds). The West Yorkshire Combined Authority are potentially looking to issue a tender for a Common Safety Method (CSM) Assessor to provide the necessary independent assessments of the development and ultimate delivery of 4 new rail stations in West Yorkshire which are being development by the combined authority. These are Elland (Calderdale), LBA Parkway, White Rose, and Thorpe Park (Leeds). The Combined Authority is proposing to complete this contract between 1.1.2020 and 31.3.2025 and is seeking to appoint a supplier to deliver this requirement. At this time the current tender output date and route is unknown but organisations who would like to express an interest in this opportunity should email procurement@westyorks-ca.gov.uk with the title ‘CA1181 CSM — Assessor. Expression of Interest are to be sent to the above email by 31.10.2019 outlining the following: Company name, introduction, contact details, confirmation and details of any frameworks you are associated to relating to this requirement, capacity to submit a tender within the coming weeks (approx. November/December), capacity to deliver the requirement, company website and confirmation/interest of the suitability your organisation can offer to potentially cover the above. It is the intention of the Combined Authority to contact all organisations who have expressed an interest, explaining our intent, in the near future of the initial expression of interest deadline. The Combined Authority are running a supplier open day on 1.11.2019. If you are interested in attending the open day please confirm your wish to participate with a maximum of 2 attendee names. Once you have sent the request further details will be provided. It is envisaged that the procurement process will be run through the Combined Authority’s E-Procurement system ‘In-Tend’. The authority will utilise this system to issue the tender once it becomes available. In the meantime we encourage you to register to ensure smooth access and progression once the tender is live.
