Tender description

— assisting and advising Bus Éireann on Irish, UK and International standards and best practice for vehicle safety, vehicle maintenance, maintenance systems monitoring, industry developments and research relating to roadworthiness and road safety, — carrying out independent vehicle inspection audits and audits of the Bus Éireann maintenance system, based on these standards and recommendations, over the duration of the contract, — all inspections to comply with EU and relevant Irish legislation, — the tenderer will be required to demonstrate comprehensive experience and history of providing similar independent vehicle inspection services and maintenance system audits of small, medium and large passenger service vehicles, preferably but not specifically in the Irish and UK market and, where applicable, Europe. — assisting and advising Bus Éireann on Irish, UK and International standards and best practice for vehicle safety, vehicle maintenance, maintenance systems monitoring, industry developments and research relating to roadworthiness and road safety, — carrying out independent vehicle inspection audits and audits of the Bus Éireann maintenance system, based on these standards and recommendations, over the duration of the contract, — all inspections to comply with EU and relevant Irish legislation, — the tenderer will be required to demonstrate comprehensive experience and history of providing similar independent vehicle inspection services and maintenance system audits of small, medium and large passenger service vehicles, preferably but not specifically in the Irish and UK market and, where applicable, Europe, — the tenderer will be required to demonstrate a full and complete understanding of and expertise in, all aspects of Irish, UK and European legislation pertaining to vehicle roadworthiness, maintenance systems and health and safety.
