Harrogate Convention Centre (HCC) is seeking a contractor for the delivery of a Stewarding service across the whole site including the Royal Hall. The Convention Centre is wholly owned by Harrogate Borough Council and offers exhibition and conference services to a wide range of clients and customers. The contract will run for a period of three years with an option for an extension for a further three, 12 month extensions dependent upon the outcome of reviews of the service provision. It is envisaged that the contract will commence October 2019. The Convention Centre is wholly owned by Harrogate Borough Council and offers exhibition and conference services to a wide range of clients and customers. It is crucial to the local economy bringing in more than 300 000 visitors to the District in addition to helping to generate 3,000 local jobs in support industries such as hotels, guest houses, restaurants, shops and transport and event services. This service is one of the determining factors for clients when choosing a venue and so understanding and exceeding customer expectations is crucial. In return the successful contractor can expect a high level of commitment and will be contributing to future success for the venue and the local economy.
