Pressure area care products including beds, mattresses, cushions, slings, slide sheets, hoists, prevention and support aids. In addition, services associated with these type of products; rental, maintenance and decontamination. Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of 30 670 000 to 72 040 000 in the first year of this framework agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the framework agreement. This LOT is for Spinal Beds; Therapy, rational /respiratory beds; Critical Care Beds; Turning Beds; Therapy Beds; Maternity/Birthing Beds; Related accessories within the range This LOT is for standard electric profiling beds. Products within this Lot include but shall not be limited to: General 4 section acute profiling beds;General community beds;Cots;Paediatric beds;Low height beds; Related accessories within the range This Lot is for foam mattresses suitable for use as a standard mattress for patients. Products within this Lot include but shall not be limited to: standard pressure redistribution foam mattresses; memory foam mattresses;and foam overlays. This Lot is for bariatric beds, mattresses and their associated accessories used for very heavy patients who exceed the safe working load and dimensions of the standard hospital bed. Products within this Lot include but shall not be limited to: Acute bariatric beds;Community bariatric beds;Standard pressure redistributing foam bariatric mattresses. This Lot is for dynamic mattresses and overlay systems for pressure relief / redistribution and prevention/management of pressure ulcers. Products within this Lot include but shall not be limited to: Alternating pressure mattress replacements;Dual mode dynamic mattress replacements;Alternating pressure overlays;Low air loss mattress replacements. This Lot is for hybrid pressure reducing mattresses used for pressure redistribution and prevention of pressure ulcers. Mattresses in this Lot will be used as a standard mattress for patients. Products within this Lot include but shall not be limited to active foam mattresses. This Lot is for non-powered re-distributing mattresses and overlays for pressure relief and prevention/management of pressure ulcers by increasing contact area and reducing interface pressures to reduce shear and friction forces. Products within this Lot include but shall not be limited to: gel mattresses; and air filled mattresses. This Lot is for prevention and support aids suitable for reduction in risk of pressure sores. Products within this Lot including but not limited to: bootees / foot protectors; positioners; leg troughs; and wedges. This Lot is for Hoists, Equipment and Accessories that allow patients in hospitals and nursing homes, and those receiving home health care to be transferred between a bed and a chair or other similar resting place. Products within this Lot include, but shall not be limited to: mobile hoists — electrical and hydraulic; spreader bars; and scales This Lot is for Standing Aids and Accessories used for standing transfers, weight bearing exercise and other rehabilitation functions. Products within this Lot include but shall not be limited to: standing aids — manual and electric; and related accessories for example seat straps, arm straps and knee straps. This Lot is for bathing equipment and accessories including but not limited to: variable height baths; shower chairs; shower/changing trolleys; and manual bath hoists for chair/bed to bath transfers. This lot is for transfer equipment including but not limited to: air assisted lifting/transfer devices; patient transfer boards; and patient turntables. This Lot is for Slings and Accessories that allow patients in hospitals and nursing homes, and those receiving home health care to be transferred between a bed and a chair or other similar resting place. Products within this Lot include, but shall not be limited to: loop slings for use with hoists; clip slings for use with hoists; and high back slings for use with hoists. This Lot is for Slide Sheets including but not limited to reusable and disposable slide sheets. This Lot is for the provision of rental and decontamination services for pressure area care and patient handling products and bariatric equipment.
