Tender description

The City and County of Swansea awards this Tenders for an intensive housing related support service for entrenched rough sleepers, aged 18+ through a Housing First approach. Housing First is a system of support for people who are homeless often with high and complex needs, and is designed to deliver a sustainable exit from homelessness by helping individuals to access an independent tenancy as quickly as possible and providing the support they need for as long as they need it to sustain this tenancy. A core principle of the service will be that any person identified for the housing first programme shall be assisted into moving straight into their own self-contained accommodation, this tenancy will not be conditional upon engagement with support and that flexible, intensive community support should be offered around the needs of the person. They will have ‘normal’ security of tenure.
