Tender description

Hampshire County Council commissioned 1 service provider to deliver a special educational needs and disability information, advice and support service for Hampshire. The aim of the service is to assist the Council in delivering its specific duty to provide information, advice and a support service to children, their parents and carers and young people with SEND, as defined in Parts 19 and 32 of the Children and Families Act 2014. The Council has worked with the Hampshire NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) for the purpose of defining the service. The contract will commence on 1.1.2019 and will be for a period of 3 years with the option to extend for 2 further years. This tender is being conducted using a bespoke process under the Light Touch Regime, which will include a selection, Invitation to Tender (ITT) and, if required, due diligence stage.
