Contract Award - Site Investigation Services in respect of the Higher Education PPP Programme to be procured and delivered by the National Development Finance Agency (NDFA)

Tender description

The National Development Finance Agency (NDFA) on behalf of the Higher Education Authority (HEA) and the Department of Education and Skills (DoES) sought Site Investigations Services in respect of the Higher Education PPP Programme (Bundle 1 and Bundle 2). The Site Investigations are to be carried out at eleven (11) sites. The project sites are split into two Lots; Lot 1 and Lot 2. Lot 1: 6 no. sites located in Cork, Kerry, Dublin and Westmeath Lot 2: 5 no. sites located in Galway, Limerick, Carlow, Waterford and Donegal You are invited to submit tenders for one or both Lots. If a Tenderer elects to tender for both Lots, a separate tender must be submitted for each Lot. Please note that Tenderers may only be awarded a maximum of one (1) Lot. Tenders will be evaluated on the basis of lowest price, subject to compliance and verification of the requested Suitability Assessment Questionnaire (“SAQ”) information prior to contract award. Tenders for Lot 1 will be evaluated first and the apparently successful tender for Lot 1 will be identified (“Lot 1 Preferred Tender”). If the Tenderer that submitted the Lot 1 Preferred Tender has also submitted a tender for Lot 2, that Tenderer’s tender for Lot 2 will be removed from the evaluation of the Lot 2 tenders. At tender submission stage, compliance with the minimum requirements contained in the SAQ is to be addressed by way of self-declaration. Please see the tender documents attached to this notice for further information. The contract for Lot 1 was awarded to: Priority Geotechnical Ltd., Unit 12, Owenacurra Business Park, Midleton, Co. Cork, on 18 January 2019. The contract for Lot 2 was awarded to: Causeway Geotech Ltd., 8 Drumahiskey Road, Ballymoney, Co. Antrim BT53 7QL on 18 January 2019.
