Tender description

On street secure cycle parking. The Contractor will supply approximately 180 high quality storage units each capable of holding a minimum of 5 cycles, normally this will comprise of 2 units on each street however this may be adjusted in relation to operational requirements. The locations will be provided by the Council. The Contractor will provide maintenance services throughout the life of the contract for installed units. The Contractor will provide an online portal to promote the units and allow members of the public to note interest, sign up to an available space or propose a potential new location for consideration in any future roll out. The Contractor will manage user deposits and key management. The Contractor will charge users a monthly fee for the provision of this service and will use this fee to fund minor maintenance in addition to building up a contingency fund for the Council.
