Minor Roads Surfacing Contract 2019/2020

Tender description

The Contractor will be required to undertake resurfacing works to include the following main elements of work: - i. Weed killing in advance of the works ii. Removal of road markings as required by the process. iii. Sweeping of carriageway, removal of vegetation and preparing to lay surfacing. iv. Laying of Micro Asphalt or equivalent proprietary surfacing material including regulating. v. Jetting and cleaning of gullies. vi. Raising existing ironwork to new levels. vii. Reinstatement of existing road markings with minor alterations as specified by the Council. viii. Management of pedestrian and vehicular traffic including road closures with diversion routes.
