Tender description
VCS operates a 24-hour operation every day of the year, from the two sites based on and around Buckingham Palace Road (BPR), SW1W. The operation is split between Coach Station Arrival & Departure Terminals. The Departures is split between East and West terminals and the back office functions based at 200 BPR and the Station Block. The BIDS system has been in use at VCS since 1996. Due to ageing of the BIDS software the system has a number of limitations. As a result of these limitations, TfL are looking at the options to replace the current system via the running of OJEU open procedure procurement process.
