Essex County Council (ECC) are seeking to undertake face to face market engagement with a range of suppliers to better understand the latest practice/innovations and concepts currently being developed and brought to market within the highways sector or that could be applied to the highways sector. Essex County Council (ECC) are seeking to undertake face to face market engagement with a range of suppliers to better understand the latest practice/innovations and concepts currently being developed and brought to market within the highways sector or that could be applied to the highways sector. ECC is interested in how these: — support or reduce highway and street lighting asset maintenance and operational costs, — improve safety including, but not limited to traffic management, — reduce energy requirements, — improve air quality, — can utilise highway assets to enhance connectivity, — drive income generation, — utilise data and technology to help improve customer experience and/or to achieve better, more cost effective outcomes. ECC will be hosting an event on 24.10.2019 in Chelmsford, Essex for suppliers to come and meet with the team and discuss their ideas and solutions. There will be a limit of 2 people per organisation.
